This theme will focus on the:
• rising prevalence of hearing loss globally;
• importance of appropriate preventative actions to stem the rise;
• need to ensure access to rehabilitation services and communication for people with hearing loss.
The posters for next year’s event have been revealed and more information on the campaign will be available soon at www.who.int/deafness/world-hearing-day/en. Information materials including a brochure, all the posters, banners and more will be made available in early February.
If you are thinking of organising an event to mark World Hearing Day next year, the World Health Organisation has a useful planning template for you to use.
