Exciting line up for Manchester Conference
An exciting line-up of speakers looks set to make the 2009 BSHAA Congress an un-missable event. Bookings are now being taken for the conference which is to take place at the Old Trafford Stadium home of Manchester United Football Club – the move to a more accessible location the result of feedback from the 2009 event in Harrogate. The stadium has good conference facilities, an excellent reputation for its catering as well as a convenient location and free parking. Speakers already signed-up include Michael Heppell, author of best selling business books including Five Star Service, One Star Budget, which will be the subject of his keynote address. A well known motivational speaker Mr Heppell has worked with Microsoft, Scottish Power, O2, Capitas, HSBC, John Lewis, and LloydsTSB to name but a few. Joining him on the programme will be another business guru and writer, Andy Cope. He penned the popular children’s book Spy Dog but is equally at home in the lecture theatre and will reveal for delegates The Art of Being Brilliant. Also signed up is top salesman turned international speaker Marc Hogan; Dr Gus Mueller, Professor of Audiology at Vanderbilt University, the founder of the American Academy of Audiology, lecturer, and author of many books and articles on diagnostic audiology and hearing aid applications. Leading ENT Surgeon Matthew Yung,Dr Kevin Munroe and e-commerce manager Megan Powell complete the line-up announced so far. Hearing aid audiology in the UK is entering a new era in 2010 with the demise of the HAC and the Society aims to inspire its members to new levels of performance. In particular customer service will be a big issue for hearing aid audiology as it enters the era of self regulation. The Society's aim is to get its members up there with the best.
