Why Join BSHAA?
The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists is a Society that represents and promotes the private hearing aid profession in the UK.
BSHAA is committed to professional development and plays an important role in the ever-changing world of consumer care and hearing instrument fitting and provision.
Regular contact is maintained with other appropriate organisations engaged in the wide spectrum of audiological disciplines and consumer affairs including the HAC and HPC.
A wide variety of support activities are regularly organised by BSHAA to ensure the membership receive up to date information regarding their profession. Educational support is provided to assist members in keeping up to date with evolving technology and latest developments in the provision of hearing instruments and audiology. Our rules for CPD are consistent with the HPC's CPD requirements and support BSHAA members' compliance with the HPC's standards for continuous professional development. The support activities also provide an excellent forum for dispensers to exchange ideas with other audiologists and Registered Hearing Aid Dispensers.
