A handy planning toolkit is available to help make your 2019 World Hearing Day event a success.
This year’s World Hearing Day is Sunday 3 March, and organiser the World Health Organisation (WHO) has produced the planning kit to help hearing practices and others to stage successful awareness-raising events and campaigns.
WHO has also launched the World Hearing Day 2019 small grants scheme. You can apply for a small grant of up to USD 750 to cover expenses related to World Hearing Day activities. A maximum of 15 grants will be provided, based on the decision made by a selection panel.
The theme of World Hearing Day this year is ‘Check Your Hearing’ and is a great opportunity for hearing practices to promote the value of hearing – and caring for it – in your communities.
