Less than four weeks to BSHAA Congress

It’s the fourth time that Congress has been held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, in the beautiful grounds of Nottingham University but it’s the first time that support for the exhibition has been so strong that it has given the organisers a headache.

“We’ve always managed to squeeze everyone in, in the past,” says Society President, Peter Sydserff, “but this year we have had to open an area right next door to the exhibition hall to accommodate extra exhibitors.”

But Peter says a headache for the organisers is great news for delegates because it means there’s even more to see and learn at the 2016 conference. He explained:  “As well as the busy exhibition, there is an amazing programme packed with fascinating speakers who can’t fail to offer great learning opportunities – not least because within a few weeks, the HCPC will begin an audit randomly checking on registrant’s CPD portfolios.”  Download the programme

A couple of years ago the Society introduced the VISA scheme for delegates:  exhibitors donate prizes and delegates who visit all the donor stands can take part in a prize draw.  This year the gifts are worth thousands of pounds in total, ranging from a bottle of champagne to a pair of hearing aids with a retail value of over £2,000.  Download a prize list The chance to win is an added bonus for delegates.

And of there’s the annual gala dinner and other great opportunities to network and share common experiences with fellow professionals.    Find out more here.
