BSHAA Masterclass course leader revealed

One of the best audiology minds on the planet will be the course leader for the two-day BSHAA Masterclass on 27/28 March at the Radisson Blu Hotel at London Stansted Airport.

Dr Harvey Abrams will be flying over from the States to lead our advanced CPD course, and will bring unparalelled experience and insights for delegates. In a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Dr Abrams has played a leading role in clinical audiology and research. He teaches at several universities in the States and his insights into delivering the highest levels of care will be a valuable learning experience for delegates.

Dr Abrams has served in a number of academic, clinical and research capacities, including Director of Audiology Research at Starkey Hearing Technologies; Chief of Audiology and Speech Pathology Service at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System; and the Director of Research at the Army Audiology and Speech Center. He is a frequent lecturer on the topics of outcome measures, health-related quality of life, professional issues, and evidence-based audiology practice. His research has focused on treatment efficacy and improved quality of life associated with audiology intervention, including, most recently, computer-based auditory training.

The 2020 BSHAA Masterclass
